Manufacturing industry uses pesticides and preservatives to
double their throughput and its non-biodegradable waste is so large every
year. It’s ethical by the law but is it really ethical being a human. Use of
pesticides and use of preservatives in food lead to numerous diseases. the
industrial waste is dumped into seas and nobody is there to look for it which
in result harm not only environment bur also to human and wildlife.
According to (Darier, 2013) Traditional Chinese
herbs have a strong reputation for their medicinal benefits, but a Greenpeace
East Asia investigation has revealed that these herbs are coated in a toxic
cocktail of pesticide residues, posing long-term health risks instead.
Herbal products are used in daily cooking in some countries.
Many people add ginseng, red dates or chrysanthemums, for example, to their
soups or tea to cure various health problems. These herbs are extensively used
outside china by people who seek for alternatives for the allopathic medicines.
It is estimated to be sixty billion dollars annually.
According to (EWG's 2013 Shopper's Guide to Pesticides
in Produce™)Greenpeace East Asia explains how it tested 65 samples of Chinese
herbal products and found them to be coated in pesticide residues – some of
them banned in China. Some of the pesticides detected are highly hazardous
according to the norms of WHO. European countries have already banned some of
the pesticides used. Pesticide may lead to many diseases such as hormone
disruption, cancer etc.
In Organic industries natural pest management techniques are
used. It makes sure that no loss is
made to the environment by any means and also no chemicals are being introduced
in water or air.
Industrial waste water is becoming a big issue these days. The waste contains toxic chemicals like mercury and eventually attack people. In some part of the world industrial waste is causes rain to be acid rain which is harmful for people.
In industries pesticides, preservatives and chemicals used
are so deadly that when they are used the person spraying our adding it is
wearing full uniform to protect himself. Human ethics does not allow this kind
of work.
According to (EWG's 2013 Shopper's Guide to
Pesticides in Produce™) Field corn and soy is produced in industrial plants with
genetically modified seeds which are then used to make tortillas, chips and
corn syrup. Genetically modified plants should be banned completely because
they are not good for health even more than the pesticide plants.
Most easily available GMO from industries are found in supermarkets such as
small amount of zucchini, Hawaiian papaya and some varieties of sweet corn.
There is no law in us to which makes the seller labels about the product
weather it is organic or GMO.
There are many benefits of using organic industrial products, where no
pesticides, preservatives and any kind of chemical are used. This simply means anything is not
exposed to harmful chemicals and it means healthier soil that should sustain and better environment for generations to come.
Manufacturing industry waste is the issue which needs to be
solved as soon as possible. It is estimated that in us only $700,000,000 will
be required to manage industrial waste. it has been an ethical issue for a long time and still it is going on due to human needs and needs attention by the people. This problem of industrial waste can be solved by recycling products if taken care in tine. industrial water waste and other waste can be handled if given proper attention in time.
